Yukon Fur Fair
WE ARE SORRY TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE CONVENTION IS BEING POSTPONED TO NEXT YEAR.
Instead of it we will have a one-day YUKON FUR FAIR.
Location: Westmark Hotel, Ball Room, Whitehorse
Date: Saturday, March 7th, 2020
Time: 11 am – 6 pm
This is to service trappers to sell their furs. Tables are $40 for members of the YTA, $80 for non-members who will receive a 1-year membership with their table. To reserve, contact Brian at 867 334 1864 and leave a message as he will be in and out of service. His email is email@example.com. If trappers do not wish to stand behind a table, Brian can arrange a broker for them. That would have to be arranged prior to the event and please contact Brian asap to inventory and price the furs.
The YTA will have a table and advertise commercial tanning services to receive furs from trappers or buyers that need tanning done. Crafters are welcome, but the event is to supply the crafters in town for the Bead Hide and Fur event at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural centre.
We look forward to seeing you at the event.
Set the date for Friday, May 10th, 2019, 11am sharp. We will all meet at the Yukon Trappers Association, 175A Titanium Way, in Whitehorse. We have a lot of interesting stuff to discuss. We’d love to see you all. If you can attend, give us a quick buzz at 867 667 7091.

She is co-owner/operator of Yukon Tough with her business partner Luke Johnson. She’s going to bring a runway show of 16 outfits sewn with all Yukon furs and skins. She would like to kindly ask if you would be able to support this great opportunity in bringing her line and team to the big stage. Louisette is also making Yukon scrap fur teddy bears which will walk the runway for exposure and she’ll then auction them off to raise funds to start a non-profit for chronic illness in the north. Any donations would be so greatly appreciated and she would be able to add your organization’s logos on her runway slideshow and in her marketing material. She believes that we can all rise together as consciousness stewards of the land with this opportunity and hopes you will share her thoughts on this. Thank you for your time and consideration.
